Covid-19 The Self-isolation Projects

From April 1st to May 3rd I created a new body of work from ideas and dreams I had while self-isolating in my home during the covid-19 outbreak. Given the circumstances, I used only equipment I had in my office and photographed the subjects in my house. It was a strange and enlightening month, nearly every emotion was experienced at some point. I was able to maintain a positive outlook for what lay ahead by exploring, experimenting and even refreshing on photographic concepts and techniques I had learned decades before. The concepts range from experimenting with still life to documenting the moments and inspiration I’ve surrounded myself with in my home. By creating solely for myself, I was able to reflect on what inspires me as an artist.
