Summer Nineteen Part I

The summer started slowly allowing me to spend time on my own ideas and with family, (sometimes combining those two).  On any given weekend, you’ll find us exploring the pacific northwest on day hikes with our dog leading the way. This year, I decided to try a different tactic of capturing the surrounding landscapes by capturing the sentiment of time rather than freezing one specific moment.  Using neutral density and a pinhole method, I shot several second exposures without using a viewfinder to frame the image. Shown here are some quiet memories with my family.
