I finally had the opportunity to photograph the amazing and talented human, DeeJay Hershe. A shoot that felt like it had been on hold for years (in reality just a few months) came together on a Tuesday evening in north Seattle. The goal was both promotional images for a new set she was releasing as well as a profile series for myself. We met on an old basketball court I had previously scouted. Armed with just an awesome producer and a hand mirror, we made some magic. Once the light was gone, we traveled to my studio and spent a little more time creating a variety of portraits playing with light, wardrobe, backgrounds and more.
