Winter

Following a seemingly endless summer that stretched into fall, I decided to prioritize some quality time with loved ones this winter. From entertaining getaways to Chelan, LA and Sunriver to cherished moments in our neighborhood, these experiences helped brighten the dark season. Each of these photos was snapped using my new "walk-around" camera—a small mirrorless with a compact 24mm lens. As technology has advanced and my perspective has grown, I've developed a newfound appreciation for the "street photographer" approach.
