Hangin' with Howie
A portrait session with the legendary Howie Cohn for SeattleMet — great light, great stories, and a truly impressive Bartells collection.
Every once in a while, SeattleMet calls — and I always hope I’m free. Editorial work is consistently fun, but SeattleMet stands apart. They’re one of the last publications genuinely pushing the envelope on style, color, and concept, and collaborating with their team never gets old. This time around they brought me Howie Cohn — an amazing man with deep roots in Seattle, an inexhaustible collection of stories, and a truly impressive haul of strange Bartells gifts. We spent a couple of hours in the studio making portraits, and honestly it was one of those shoots where the conversation was as good as the light. Read the story in SeattleMet.
