Odin, Beyond the Myth
This was my own interpretation and storytelling of the Norse god Odin, a powerful, wise man that confronts the subconscious evils of today's world. My goal for this shoot was to juxtapose the more human and casual side of an immortal with his god-like character, making this powerful being fit into a modern world. We custom-made leather costuming to fit our model Godfrey and experimented with styling to bring this character into the current day. Using lighting and some post background effects, we were able to showcase this divine spirit in his most powerful as well as the ruminant time when not drawn to war.
