After kicking off our spring break with a trip to Texas to experience the solar eclipse, I decided to spend the second half of the week in New Orleans, yes, with the kids. If I ever had to live in a "red state," New Orleans would be my pick. I've always loved the city—the vibrant culture, warm people, and incredible food. With four restaurant reservations, a packed three-day itinerary, and an approaching storm that shut down the city, we managed to pull off a fantastic end to our spring break. New Orleans never disappoints!
